Hey, I am developing a ptc site, and I am wanting to purchase a domain, but the .com domains are like 4 times as expencive as the .co.uk domains, and seeing as i want to provide a good service to my customers, I want to try and reduce the intial setup costs as far as I can so I do not have to recouperate as much money just to break even, as obvious i do not want to lose money. I have calculated that it will cost me $200 to set up the site, but i can cut this down by purchasing a .co.uk domain.

would you be put off by a .co.uk domain?

If you are ready to spend $200 doesnt make you that much difference the price of the domain (maximum $9 Undecided )

Or is it a premium domain we are talking here?

.com $7.49 if you use GoDadday and google for a discount code

Most registrars require you too register for 2 years on a .co.uk

Register a new .com domain name without purchasing a existing domain name and you will save tons of money.
