When I post on Vacation thread saying that I will not be able to click for a certain period of time, I think it would be useful to have a defined list of users (my exchange referrals), so that my post on Vacation thread will automatically be notified (probably by a PM) to all my users (from my defined list of users.)

I do not think this  system is capable of something  like this .....

it is your responsibility to notify  your  ref's.....  at the same token,  it is also your ref's responsibility to look at the  vacation thread if they do not see you click

But it is your responsibility   1st to let your exchangers  know  ,  or  you can change your  Signature to let people  you will be away .....

I totally agree it's my responsibility, but I was just proposing something to ease this responsibility.

One thing that could be easily done is to allow sending messages to more than 5 recipients at a time.

This way I can send a message to all my exchange referrals and then I can reuse this message by changing the content.
The point is to have a message template where all my intended recipients (exchange referrals) are already filled in.

But this limitation of sending a message to no more than 5 users is like a drawback.
Maybe you could lift this limitation for users with positive reputation or for +100 posts users, etc.
Can something be done for this?

Sorry  I did not  realize there was a limit  on  sending,  then yes your question is  very  important ....

I never send more than one person at a time,  so I haven't  used  it .....


I will certainly ask  the  techie  if  we can revamp  this

OK,  the  best  they can do right now  is  20 ......  North said we will see later if it can be  increased .....


This has been increased so that members can notify their  ref's  when they can not click .....

We  are strongly suggesting to all,  if this  gets  abused by spamming members of this forum  for  what ever  reason,  it will be taken  away and put back as it was and the person or persons  who spammed  will  get   a  ban  .....
