I'm pretty sure PPClix is starting to sell bots as referrals now. Let's take a look at my reasoning:

1. Pre-bot times, there were hardly ever referrals available. It was a rare sight to see.
2. Post-bot times, there are many more referrals available for purchase
3. All post-bot referrals click at roughly the same exact time every day, and I always get the same amount of clicks from the,

well i don't think so that they use bots

and for ur point 1 and 2 it is simple in the prelauch they had low refs cuz they wanted less ppl to buy refs at low prices ok and they managed to save some thousands now they r selling it in full price to make them money  simple and for the 3rd i don't have refs there so i can't tell u my experience

i never take a look at their refs amount.
but for point 3 i think it is very common at many sites....they update your stats at one time..
especially if that site require you to click to gain referrals earning.

Not always bots-related but it could be a possibility

yup, you're required to click full ads the day before to earn full credit.
