Im not so familiar on this cyptocurrency, but after much research I understand now. I feel as if it is the equivalent of how the trade of otc stock would go. Sure there can be money to be be made, but either you will never reach the amount or when you do, it would be undervalued and considered worthless. If you can find your way to the top, good luck. Just make sure there are buyers of that particular coin or you will have $100 million in coins no one will trade tangible currency for.

Bitcoin is being compared to Gold and Litecoin is designed like Silver alternative to Bitcoin. Proof : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=47417.0
Hence a Bronze Alternative -> Dogecoin ?

It matches in logo as well as volume. So, in value too ?

Now with problems in Kiev, Middle East, and other countries, World War 3 is
on our doorsteps, so perhaps BITCOIN will raise in value, more people will buy it.
it's now cheaper than gold for sure, and has the potential to double Gold's value,
mind you Gold is safer, but BITCOIN is not backed and is a gamble, might be
worth taking for some.  How long do you think the world will recover from
WWIII ? Very long...... Paper money will have lost 75-90% of its value,
metals will have been sky rocketed and the crypto spiked !

OR it could go the other way, people selling out crypto and using money
to buy gold.

Admins it's time to fire up your BOTS - now will be good times to open BUX sites frenzy big grin

To get one thing clear by the word backed. I know that if I go to use government I will get back my $1 in gold

Food for though =
Currencies were once assessed by the gold standard, which compared currencies to the U.S. dollar and then to the value of gold. Concept since abandoned after WWI. The current method of assessing currency values is based on the floating currency exchange rate, which is a more efficient way of valuing currency from one country to another, even though currency values fluctuate from day to day.

This is what makes Bitcoin and other currencies work However, it would have to become a standard and backed by a tangible object for me to sale my condo for BitCoins. When Coinye bellied up from lawsuits, what happened to all the coinye's floating around?

Which brings me back to why I responded to the last post, in the event of some cataclysmic disaster (WW3) I doubt people are going to be trying to boot up the internet to trade virtual money. Any sites claiming for people to earn bitcoins through some interest rate bs is purely bs as bitcoins designed is designed to disable outside fluctuation such as that. The only thing that matter is Demand For Supply.

Im sorry sir you are wrong, the usa governments value of the dollar is constantly decreasing and is no longer backed by gold and hasent been, kind of ironically the price of gold is on a differnt path upward. in 10 years you will get less gold for that $1 thumbs up

Paper currency around the world is becaming worthless.  Government are trying to get rid of paper and so they can save the environment.  I am counting on dogecoin make me filthy rich in the future.

If it does not happen. Oh well at least I try.

if you really want dogecoin just mine them instead of buying them.. they are easy to mine in large quantities... which is why they are pretty much valueless currently...

Yes I Know, I have a large amount of coins saved and will be extremly happy if they reach 50 cents per coin, I will be millionaire then clap  and If I loose, I loose nothing, just few hundred bucks, so its worth to take risk IMO.
