That's what I been trying to say for a long time!   That's how people lose their shirts in the market......If people cannot handle the subtle swings in markets they should stay far away
from BITCOIN.

Ya that's what I said, If you are into BTC and Crypto currecies then avoid Panic selling. Those are the times to purchase them actually.

Bitcoin is more of a commodity than a currency. People are buying it like stocks, which everyone knows, goes up and down, and might crash.

Also, Bitcoin's price dropped because China banned it.

China banned it.

China did not "ban" it persay, just prohibited banks to carry it as their chosen currency.

This is true - confirmed with BTCe

Very low indeed.  And I feel bad for those who purchased it when it was at 800 let alone 1k.

Will it ever go back above $1k let alone 800, I am skeptic about it.

I guess it's been in this range for a while and going in downward trend, people are afraid to buy low now ! This whole Goddamned Mtx thing might have done irreparable damage.

This is the price to pay for scammers, cheaters and thieves....

Of course, who's going to pay for government corruption big grin

Any income from any source is taxed, it doesn't matter be it BITCOIN or rock currency,
anything that can be converted to money becomes an earning so you get taxed.

The only thing the IRS does not tax is the air that you breath big grin
