One more good service is Wooservers.com and last time they said they are hosting PTC too. They have Datacenter in same city where Snoork have North Carolina, I was not hosted PTC but i found when my site was down rarely Snoork sites was also down, then i Investigate and found My service provider servers are also in Same city.

Speed is very good and Customer care is also fast.

I had horrid experience there. Moved my sites there since they said they had ddos protection, my sites got attacked, all they did was nullroute my sites and said I did not qualify for ddos protection. Took me over 2 days to get through to proper support person to get the nullroute lifted from my sites so I could move them.

Maybe they are good if you dont get attacked, but I would not risk hosting a ptc site there.

Have been using easycloud so far, can't say 1 bad word about them ...
Exspensive yes, but no downtime at all, and fast support.

As plenty of people already said, Snoork is pretty damn good.

Annd you'll probably want to avoid all EIG-owned hosts: (They own BlueHost & many more. Out of the 4-5 I've tried, they're all pretty crap.)

I second this.

Yes sometimes there are some network issues, but I will take that any day over crummy support (or having to pay to submit support ticket) and crummy service.

I dunno what JJ is ranting about but snoork/rylee james hosting has been an angel compared to other hosts. One host sent me an abuse ticket every time someone reported one of my site emails as spam. You would be surprised how many people click spam on a site welcome email or verification email it was ridiculous. Another host null routed my site due to "attack" and it took me 2 days to get it back online due to crappy support.

The main reason I would go with snoork if you are serious about your PTC site is that snoork offers doos protection at an affordable price. You site is high target unfortunately. So you can either go with snoork and be protected OR risk it at another host and get null routed in an attack, your site would be shut down and they would tell you to get third party ddos protection which is around $10,000 a month.

We're always working on improving our network and DDoS protection, as DDoS attacks increase in size every year. We have recently added few new network providers including PalmettoNet (Sprint) and DukeNet Fiber to offer better connectivity and redundancy

I'm not a big fan of cloud servers due to performance issues with disk I/O speeds. Cloud servers tend to have very low disk read/write speeds, which are extremely crucial for sites that relay on MySQL.

EasyCloud is the best hosting out there people swear by it once you use them you never leave
