I hope this is the right place, but does anyone know where to get the actual aurora script without having to buy a site/domain?
I got a script off tradebit, but I think it has a backdoor and it has a bunch of errors, could somebody tell me how to remove a backdoor, or where it would be? Also maybe I just installed the script wrong can somebody tell me how to install it properly?

Hope some one has atleast one answer, thanks.

No it's not a back door, unless you got illegal script.

i don't think it is illegal, i really don't know, i couldn't find the script originally, so i got it. Any clue on fixing errors?

Maybe if there is a  way if someone owns an aurora ptc, we could talk, somehow you might be able to provide me with the admin folder to replace mine, because that is where my errors are, I can't overwrite anything and i have changed the premissions.

You can check php files in /includes directory. Also, check the template you are using, someone can put a home call from there.

Replacing files should be done with the same version, or your site gets messed up.

i have 755 on the files, i try the 644 on the folders, but i don't think it will help saying it says it can't replace the information. But thanks for the tip, atleast i am getting somewhere. Anyone else?

Origin, first is a homecall a backdoor type of thing? Also is that what you are telling me to do in the includes directory, check for backdoors?
And thanks, i think i have the newest version, it is like 4.0.3

a home call is when a program sends info to the modder that put in the security check. although it might be sending passwords or other info from your paypal or alertpay settings. i would make sure...

well that is NOT good. I am ditching the script.

Starting fresh, does anyone know where i can get the real script? No the aurora script where i need to buy whole site or a domain, just the script?

Get all the files you bought and move to a different host ok? if you do that your problem is solved. Don't stay hosted with them.
