I quite like my skepticism, thank you.  It helps me stay safer from scams/con artists, so I never lose any money.  Considering the reputation these kinds of sites have, I'd say it's more than necessary, it's stupid not to.  Trust should be earned, not given freely upon any stranger asking for it.  That said, I also wait and give people a chance to prove themselves.  So being a skeptic is definitely NOT  .
