I don't think there is an option for that, not yet anyway.  Smiley
You can just mark them as read, when you do that it only marks 1 page at a time not like in new topics so its easier to see which ones you don't want to read.  Smiley

There is exactly what I said .. I have some threads which I follow and I get notification everytime when a new post is made. And also from there you can disabled this option: to unfollow a thread. Actually is called "Unsubscribe"

ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS,

this thread has gone on for quite a bit, so i will answer the questions...

Q. Where can i un-subscribe from email notifications?
A. Profile > Notifications and Email, then uncheck the fields

Q. How can i get rid of posts i have posted in that i dont want to see in the "show new replies to your thread" section?
A. You cant, but just mark them as read...i am experiencing the same so i just mark as read

Q. I subscribed to a thread but i cant undo it? i dont know how anyway?
A. Go to the thread you subscribed to, there should be a option saying "un-subscribe" if not, contact a mod/admin and they will help, or just PM a member with over 1,000 posts big grin

MODS CAN CLOSE THREAD, ALL QUESTIONS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!

by the way here are my notification settings :

Current Topic Notifications
You are not currently receiving any notifications from topics.

Current Board Notifications
You aren't receiving notifications on any boards right now.

so i think i can only set topics as read.. ! but it wolud be nice if we set it as read it should desappear from Show new replies to your posts.

It is meant to remind you that a thread you posted in was updated so you may check the new replies. I guess they assumed that when you post in a thread you would like to know what others post in it.  Smiley
